PRN 36532 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during residential development on land between 2 and 6 Ermine Street, Ancaster. The watching brief recovered three sherds of Early Anglo-Saxon pottery from a number of contexts. The pottery is contemporary with the Anglo-Saxon cemetery found immediately north of the site (PRN 30334) and it is possible that the sherds were fragments of cinerary urns {1} {2}
