PRN 23916
Archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) along the proposed route of the A1073 relief road between Eye (near Peterborough) and Spalding. The evaluation identified an infilled dyke running perpendicular to the section and shown on maps. Infilling had obviously taken place relatively recently, as the backfill was indistinguishable from the topsoil above it {1} {2}
