Archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) along the proposed route of the A1073 relief road between Eye (near Peterborough) and Spalding. The evaluation identified a wide natural watercourse which had a gently concave profile and was seen to curve in plan. No finds were recovered from this feature {1} {2}
