PRN 23891 Archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) was undertaken along the proposed route of the A1073 relief road between Eye (near Peterborough) and Spalding. The evaluation identified four ditches to the north of Tal-y-Llyn Cottage (TF2521019370). Two were wide and shallow, with flat bases and ran perpendicular to one another, and probably formed parts of the same system, although their function remains unclear.
