Full Description

63156 A decorated sherd of Beaker pottery was recovered after topsoil stripping during construction of a water pipeline from Bracebridge Heath to Dunston. It is suggested that it dates from towards the end of the second millenium BC. The unabraded nature of the sherd suggests that it had not been lying long outside a feature. {1}{2}
