Full Description
Linear feature, running west to east across the junction of Harts Ground and Pelhams Land about a kilometre south of Chapel Hill. It has been suggested as having Roman date and function. If this is correct this could be significant as it would cross over the prehistoric course of the River Witham meaning that by the Roman period the River Witham had changed it course. {1}
