Several Romano-British finds were made whilst metal detecting on land near Long Plantation. These comprised a small bronze headstud brooch with loop complete and part of spring pin, measuring 2cm. Also found was a bronze Polden Hill brooch with simple incised incised decoration on the bow. It had no pin or catchplate, and measured 4cm. A bronze square belt plate with remains of blue enamel, with a corner missing. A silver denarius of Commudus with emperor on the reverse, holding Victory, measuring 2cm, was also recovered. {1}
