Full Description

Stragglethorpe Hall is a 16th century, late Elizabethan country house, which was greatly extended in 1912-14 by Biddulph Pinchard. It has a rubble ground floor with mullioned windows, and close-studded timber-framing above with ogee struts and shallow oriel windows and three broad gable dormers. The plan is an unequal double E-shape. It is of two storeys with attics, and features a plain tile roof.
