Full Description

63031 The Dovecote at Dovecote House is thought to be seventeenth century in date (although it has been interpreted as being thirteenth century). It is constructed of coursed rubble and brick. It is also suggested that the building collapsed in 1914-18, when only two walls remained. The roof and brick gables were subsequently restored. It contains 500-550 nest boxes.
