Full Description

PRN 62856 Farmhouse, constructed in the early 18th and 19th centuries from brick with a plain tile roof. It stands three storey high. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} The 18th century Manor Farm had a face lift on the south side. It has canted bays and a decorative iron ballustrade along the roof. In 1654 Joseph Perkins had a homestead on this site. Changes to the fromtage were probably carried out around 1832, by the then owner, Charles Hart. {2}{3}{4} Manor Orchard, Bassingham. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with two sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {5}
