62853 The Grange, located on Newark Road, is a house which was built c.1700, is constructed of brick and a high hipped pantile roof. It has three bays on the ground floor and five above with an oval light. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the fourth side of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {3}
