PRN 36491
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during development at Thorold's Charity Primary School, Marston. The watching brief monitored the excavation of foundation trenches for new classroom extensions to an existing, Grade II Listed Building (Ref 300.006). A small assemblage of Late Saxon pottery (Lincoln Shelly Ware dated to the early to mid 10th century) was retrieved from topsoil layers, and may indicate activity of that date in the vicinity {1} {2}
