Full Description

PRN 54884 An archaeological survey was undertaken on lands forming part of the Brocklesby Estate, comprising field observation, rapid fieldwalking and a desk-top assessment. The fieldwork involved the systematic walking of arable fields. The fields were walked at 25m intervals, and finds were not collected unless they were particularly fine examples or of other specific interest. A blue glass tubular shaped bead (dating to the late Saxon period) was discovered at TA12101090. The find was retained for further study. {1}
