Full Description
Remains of several enclosures, to the south-west of Harrington (and north-east of Stockwith Mill). Visible as three small, circular enclosures, each with a diameter of 4m and arranged in a triangular pattern, with two slightly larger enclosures to the north and east. Identified as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. They may possibly represent the remains of a Second World War searchlight battery. {1}
