Full Description

PRN 70345 An archaeological watching brief monitored groundworks relating to the construction of an extension to the rear of the Positive Health (Lincolnshire) building at 25 Newland, Lincoln. The watching brief identified a 13th to 14th century pits and a number of deposits (predominantly garden soils, make-up and dumping layers) dating to the late medieval/early post-medieval period. The pit appeared to cut an earlier, undated (possibly Roman) stone surface (PRN 70346). {1} {2}
