Full Description

PRN 62849 A watching brief undertaken on land at Kirkby la Thorpe recovered 34 sherds of medieval and post medieval pottery from topsoil. The entire assemblage was unstratified, but the range of ware types present indicate activity from around the turn of the 13th century to the early 19th century. The majority of the pottery collected dated to between the 12th and 15th century {1} {2}
