The chancel has a busily decorated east wall with blind arches with stencilled inscriptions and a diapered reredos. The font is early 14th century, hexagonal with a square base. The sides of the bowl are decorated with fleurons. Inside the church is a continental sculpture of a guardian angel and saint, made out of wood and dating to the Baroque period. There is also a late 18th century hatchment for John King, part of a burial monument to Edward King (died 1617) and incised slab to Isabel de la Launde c.1400. {1}{2}{3}{4} Parish church dating from the 12th century, with 13th and 15th century alterations. The nave and chancel were extensively restored in 1854 by Mr Huddleston. The church is built of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and features plain tile roofs with ashlar coped gables and kneelers, ashlar quoins and cross finials. The plain tower has a deep chamfered plinth, a single lower opening on the west face, and an illegible plaque on the south face. The top stage has pairs of pointed arched bell openings on each face, with some re-used pieces of medieval sculpture buried in the walling. Above this is a band with corner gargoyles and then battlements, and above again is the tall octagonal spire with four small lucarnes. Inside, the three-bay north arcade has double chamfered arches and two piers each with four keeled shafts, single shaft responds, and moulded bases and capitals. The triple chamfered tower arch has moulded capitals and an impost band. The double chamfered chancel arch has moulded brattished capitals, and octagonal responds decorated with fleuron. The east chancel wall has a triple arched arcaded window surround with commandment boards in single lancets either side. The hexagonal bowl and stem font with foliate panels is thought to be of 15th century date. Also present is an 18th century wooden organ, 19th century wooden pews, altar rail and reredos, plus 19th century wooden roofs; that in the nave having a single hammer beam with carved angels. A small monument to Edward King and his two wives, with three kneeling figures, dated 1617, is on the south side of the chancel.
