PRN 62785 The National Mapping programme records the survival of earthwork crofts and trackways thought to be associated with the medieval village of Bloxholm. {1} Bloxholm is mentioned in 1086. The houses of 23 villeins were destroyed by fire, there is no exact date by the 14th century is implied. After the fire only five houses remained.{2}{3}{4} Earthworks associated with the Medieval settlement are depicted on an aerial photograph.{5}
