Full Description

PRN 54810 During trial trenching in 2003, an undated pit and posthole were recorded. The pit was stratigraphically earlier than the late ninth to late tenth century and may be of Middle Saxon date (see PRN 54809).{1}{2} Undated features including a post hole, 3 pits, a gully and short lengths of ditch were uncovered during excavation. The ditches and gullies may be contemporary with late Saxon features (see PRN 45787). {3}{4}
