Full Description
Early 19th century parish boundary marker, on the boundary between Tallington and West Deeping, and to the north-west of West Deeping. It is of ashlar limestone and cast-iron and is triangular in plan. It is inscribed 'PARISH BOUNDARY, TALLINGTON, WEST DEEPING' in raised cast letters. In 2013 the cast iron marker was found shallowly buried and in pieces on the overgrown land where it used to stand. The marker had been missing for several years. The local community are investigating options to repair and replace the marker. {3}
