Hop Hill Farm is a range of about 1880 at the end of the village and does not seem to have been directly associated with a farmhouse, although Hop Hill Cottages are located to the north. There is a three bay cart shed with cast iron columns on stone bases supporting a long chamfered beam and the granary floor above. Beside the building are stone steps up to the granary. Adjacent to the cartshed is a stable with a hayloft over. Behind the granary is a small crew yard with an open timber animal shelter built up against the back wall of the cartshed. The manger and troughs can still be seen. Opposite is a range of loose boxes. The gates from the crew yard open directly onto the roadway through the village. {1}
Hop Hill Farm, Aubourn with Haddington. Extant 19th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with two sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
