Full Description

62559 St Peter's church was built on a new site to the west of the village in 1862-63 by J.H.Hakewill in Early English style. It was declared redudndant in 1973 and subsequently partly demolished, leaving the tower and shingked brooch-spire as a graveyard chapel. The round-apsed chancel and part of the south transcept also remain.
