Full Description
Several undated ditches were recorded in February 1999, during trial trenching on land to the north of Laughton Road, Scotton. The ditches defined the edge of an earthwork platform which was used for arable cultivation, depicted on a tithe map of 1839, and were therefore thought to be of post-medieval date. {1}{2}
