Full Description

A redeposited sherd of probable 10th or 11th century date was recovered during trial trenching on land to the north of Laughton Road, Scotton. The sherd was quite badly abraded, but was thought to have formed part of a wheelthrown, shell and quartz tempered jar. {1}{2}
