Full Description

62412 A Yorkshire type food vessel was found in the grounds of Morton Hall Borstal, under some tree roots It is 4.3ins high and has a diameter 5.5ins. It is made of coarse, poorly fired buff fabric with grey core. The rim and the upper part of the body have been decorated with stabbing. It has been identified as aa ridged food vessel and should be dated somewhere bewteen 1650 BC and 1400 BC. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
