Full Description

PRN 44440 All Saints church was made redundant in 1982. The church itself is mostly of James Fowler's restoration of 1886, but has herringbone masonry in the north and south chancel walls (although Pevsner feels that this looks too regular to be genuine), so the chancel may be 11th century.{1} All Saints church is built of chalk rubble with ironstone blocks and red brick, with slate roofs with stone copings. Herringbone panels on the north and south nave walls may be 19th century decoration. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.{2} Stained glass in this church dates to the 14th century.{3}
