Full Description

PRN 62246 St Edith's is mainly built in the Decorated style, although the north doorway and north arcade are Early English. Restoration by Charles Kirk took place in 1879, and the chancel was rebuilt in 1900 by Brewill and Baily.{1} Stained glass in this church mainly dates to the 14th century, although two pieces date to about 1300. Some of the glass is still in situ.{2} The spire was repaired after a lightning strike in 1906, and the south aisle was restored in 1915, and the nave re-roofed in 1916.
