A watching brief was undertaken during a geotechnical borehole survey prior to development. Undated deposits were recovered from the boreholes. {1}{2}
During a watching brief undertaken by Archaeological Project Services between August and October 2004 in Area 2, South End, Skirbeck Road, Boston, an undated northwest to southeast linear feature or pit was revealed. During the same program of works, another undated northwest to southeast linear feature or pit was revealed along the access road and during the excavation of the surface water manhole a north to south linear boundary ditch was found. {3}{4}
