Description

Archaeological Project Services undertook a watching brief in 2004 during excavation of boreholes and groundworks for the construction of a new postal sorting office at Skirbeck Road, Boston. The original 10th to 12th century cutting of the Barditch, a 17th to 18th century brick built culvert of the Barditch, undated drainage or boundary ditches and 19th to 20th century timber structures associated with woodworking were revealed. {1}{2}
