Full Description

Two pits were recorded in this location, from which a probable late Bronze Age jar base and a late Bronze Age pyramidal loomweight were recovered. A large assemblage of worked flints was also recovered scattered over a wide area, along with late Bronze Age/early Iron Age pottery.{1} The pottery included hard flint and sand tempered sherds of simple rims, hollow necks, angluar and finger-tipped shoulders, and flat bases. {2}{3}{4}
