A series of, gullies, ditches. drainage/boundary ditches, postholes, were recorded during excavation. These appear to have been part of a substantial early or middle to late Iron Age enclosure, possibly containing a settlement which was consolidated and maintained for a certain period before being abandoned in the late Iron Age. A large amount of domestic refuse was recovered, showing domestic activity on site, a large amount of animal bones and gullies, which may have contained fencing suggest livestock farming on site.{1}{2}
