Full Description

61913 In 1762 Thomas Scrope called in his friend Sir William Chambers to design the Temple of Romulus and Remus, placed at the end of an avenue. It is circular, with two projecting apses and two pedimented porches. Beneath the central dome is a splendid honeycomb-coffered ceiling of white on blue.
