Full Description

PRN 43955 During trial trenching, a scatter of 3rd-4th century pottery and Roman roof tile was recorded. The finds of roof tile suggest that there may have been a Roman building in the vicinity.{1}{2} During an excavation and a watching brief, a scatter of brick, roof tile and mid- to late 2nd century to 4th century pottery was recovered, along with a fragment of 1st-3rd century vessel glass.{3}{4}
