Full Description

PRN 54548 A geophysical survey identified anomalies of possible archaeological potential, and a scheme of trial trenching was undertaken to investigate these anomalies. Two sections of ditch, one forming the return of the other, were thought to form part of a possible enclosure. No dating evidence was found. Two further features, one aligned north/south and the other aligned north-west/south-east, may have been watercourses, geological faults, or the remnants of medieval ridge and furrow. Both these features had similar profiles, and so are thought to be related. No dating evidence was recovered.{1}{2}{3}{4}
