Full Description

PRN 43938 During a geophysical survey and a scheme of trial trenching, a series of undated drainage features were recorded. Several brushwood drains between 9.5m and 10m apart and aligned north-north-west/south-south-east, seem to represent one phase of activity, and appear to redirect water from the slightly higher ground to the north-west into the river to the south-west. The land drains and drainage ditches seem to replicate this pattern, running towards the lower ground. One drainage ditch, however, was aligned west-north-west/east-south-east.{1}{2}{3}
