Description
An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, was undertaken on a proposed clay extraction site and irrigation reservoir comprising 2.6ha. Trench 1 measured 30m by circa 4m; Trench 2 measured 30m by 2m: Trench 3 measured 10m by 2m; and Trench 4 measured 20m by 2m. Trenches were positioned to investigate anomalies identified by geophysical survey. {1}{2}
