Full Description

PRN 35327 A large pit feature containing occasional limestone pieces and seven sherds of medieval pottery dating to no later than the 15th century were recorded during trial trenching. The function of the pit was not established, but it is thought to relate to backyard activity associated with properties fronting onto Tanners Lane and High Street, taking place in the late 14th and 15th centuries.{1}{2}
