Description

An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, took place on circa 2.5ha of land prior to development of residential properties. Eight trenches were excavated, six measuring 30m by 1.5m, and two measuring 15m by 1.5m, comprising a 2% sample of the site. Trenches were located to investigate anomalies identified by a prior geophysical survey, as well as areas not included in said survey. {1}{2}
