Full Description
During trial trenching, two undated features were recorded. A cut feature was aligned broadly north-west/south-east, but it could not be confirmed that this feature was linear. It resembled a pond in form, but the fill was homogenous, not the interleaved lenses associated with sedimentation in aquatic environments, so its function remained unknown. A north-south aligned ditch was also recorded, the west end cut by a modern rubbish pit. This feature was not excavated due to flooding of the trench, and so remains undated. {1}{2}
