Full Description
PRN 61389
During trial trenching, a possible linear feature, aligned south-south-west/north-north-east, was recorded. This feature remained unsized and undated due to flooding of the trench, but is thought to be a 19th century field or property boundary, as its location corresponds to a boundary shown on the First Edition 1886 (or 1888) Ordnance Survey map. This boundary had disappeared by the publication of the 1906 Ordnance Survey map, possibly due to realignment of boundaries when the nearby railway line was constructed.{1}{2}
