A Roman pottery scatter, comprising 27 sherds, was identified during fieldwalking by the Washingborough Archaeology Group on 1st March 1998. It was located in Field 39, south of Heighington Road. The exact extent and location of the finds is not certain, although there seems to be more of a concentration in the north of the field. {1}
