One sherd of possibly Saxon pottery was recovered during fieldwalking in Field 34, south of Heighington Road, and north of Wellsykes Lane, by the Washingborough Archaeological Group on 7th October 1995. The grid reference is the one given for the field centre as the exact location of the findspot is uncertain. {1}
