A sherd of late Bronze Age/early Iron Age pottery was found during fieldwalking (2nd April 1995) by the Washingborough Archaeology Group in a field (Field 33) south of the South Delph. The grid reference is the one given for the field centre as the exact location of the findspot is uncertain. {1}
