Full Description

61338 A scatter of flint was identified in a field (Field 26) east of Washingborough Top Farm, north of the stream along which the parish boundary with Branston and Mere runs. It was found during fieldwalking by the Washingborough Archaeology Group on 9th October 1994, and consisted of 48 pieces of flint with signs of working. This includes a barbed and tanged arrowhead and five thumb nail (button) scrapers. {1}
