Four sherds of possibly Saxon pottery were recovered from Field 22 during fieldwalking, which is north of the railway line and east of Church Hill by the Washingborough Archaeology Group. Two of the sherds were located towards the western side of the field, while the other two sherds were located towards the east. {1}
