A Roman pottery scatter was identified during fieldwalking by the Washingborough Archaeology Group in the field north of Cliff Farm (Field 5). it comprised 24 sherds including 2 rims and 2 colour-coated slipware sherds, and 5 possible further Roman slip ware sherds. {1}
