A Roman pottery scatter was identified in the fields south of Cliff Farm (Field 4.4-4.5) by the Washingborough Archaeology Group. It comprised 21 sherds of greyware and 2 sand-gritted sherds in Field 4.4, and 1 sherd of colour-coated ware in Field 4.5. {1}
