Full Description

PRN 70211 During a watching brief, the limestone foundations of an east to west aligned wall were recorded. The masonry consisted of irregular limestone fragments bonded with a moderately compact pinkish brown mortar. The foundation extended beyond the limit of the excavation to the west in the spur trench, but was not present in the west facing section of the main trench, indicating that the wall probably terminated or returned within the line of the main trench.{1}{2}
