PRN 70210
During a watching brief, a metalled surface was recorded. Two sherds of greyware dating to the 2nd to 3rd centuries were recovered from the surface of the metalling. The metalling could represent either part of the main Roman Road between Lincoln and York (see PRN 70018), or possibly a metalled surface belonging to a roadside property.{1}{2}
