Eagle war memorial was unveiled in 1920 and consists of an arched gateway leading to All Saints' Church. It was constructed out of Bath Stone and stands at eighteen feet (five and a half metres). The two-centred archway has buttressed piers at either side of it which have sunken and traceried panels. The panels carry the names of the fallen of the First World War. It was designed by A. J. Tuttell of Lincoln and features elaborately carved crocketed and canopied niches containing an armoured crusader, a Knight Templar and a Knight Hospitaller. It is topped by a Latin cross on which is carved a Knight Templar cross. {2}
